Original version by The Pixies. This song was made famous by its use in the closing moments of Fight Club. Random fact: On Tuesday, April 13, 2004, NASA transmitted "Where is My Mind?" to Mars to wake up the Mars rover Spirit in honor of its software transplant.
Where Is My Mind? cover by Nada Surf. In my opinion, this is the best actual cover of the song. Nada Surf is best known for their song Popular and really deserve their own blog post - and may get one someday - because they have some awesome songs and are one of my favorite 90s groups.
Maxence Cyrin - Where Is My Mind? (Piano Cover) A beautiful instrumental cover without lyrics. The video is worth watching too. It's oddly interesting and goes perfectly with the music.
Where Is My Mind? (Bassnectar Dubstep Remix) An awesome remix but this isn't exactly what I would call dubstep. That's a best-fit definition, I guess, and I don't know how else I'd tag it. The best part is when it cuts out with just hook playing then the bass builds until the drop - that's if you have a decent system.
Where Is My Mind? (8-bit Remix) I nearly forgot to include this remix. I have a nerdy passion for 8bit and chiptune music and will occasionally go on an 8bit bender, even breaking out the vintage game systems. I'm sure more of this music genre will make it onto this blog sometime soon.
Two covers that didn't make it on the list: Placebo and City Wolf.
